I used to be a regional coordinator when we were actively meeting here in Fresno.
There was kind of a falling out. They didn't like me and a guy from Sac postwhoring/bullshitting in a "chat" thread
I still keep in touch a couple of the locals, one of which had the connection to the casino of the last meet.
Like someone said, people will complain no matter where the meet is.
I'm in the central coast often (Pismo Beach/SLO) so I don't have a problem looking for a spot out there. I'm more than happy to help pitch in, though I more than likely won't attend because I'm just too busy these days anymore. Having a boring car doesn't help my enthusiasm either

If you want, you can shoot me a text and I can talk to you more personally in the mean time to at least explore a few options we have in other areas. 916 544 2184.

Pismo was freaking awesome. I think that was my first all cali meet. Lots of awesome memories and well worth the drive. Plenty of parking, a nice bbq, and awesome meeting many norcal members (a few ended up moving down here later). The pitstop in SB to take pictures and hang on the way home was fun too!

I remember when one of our socal guys, brownie, had a flat on the freeway. A few of us stopped to help him while the caravan went on. We ended up driving quite a while with our hazards on escorting him haha. Those were the days!
If people are going complain about the drive, maybe this isn't for you. Rolling with a large caravan is fun as hell and you forget about time! Back then, a few of the socal caravans met together and rolled up together. Planning and coordination are essential to making a great meetup.

Saw pictures of Pismo on google maps. Place looks like a baller area and very green. A scenic view which I'm sure a majority of us would love.
I love caravans, especially for long drives. I remember the SD TSX club BBQ we rolled at least 20 deep and the drive felt short and was very enjoyable.

I went to the All Cali meet out in Pismo CA, drove there from Dallas Texas to rep socal. Tons of fun. I ended up booking a hotel room for the night prior to the meet and drove with a few friends that night. Booze, drugs, naked at the beach, I couldn't ask for more. We came around quite a few runs along the way as well. Even snapped an axle on my way to the meet lol. It was an easy fix though, no biggie.
Count me in again. If you're looking to get smashed and trashed like a hooker in Amsterdam, count me in for that as well.
(no driving like that obviously. Im referring to getting a room somewhere near the beach and just enjoy the night....and hate the morning later :p )

Sure, caravaning across a state for a 10 hour meet is not for everyone. Im sure as hell not one of the people that consider that fun. Id love to get out there and meet everyone and put faces and friendships to usernames but some of us just dont like road trips.
Oh well. If it's near me Ill roll and bring positive vibes.
If it's at pismo or somewhere else with 5 hours+ driving I'll pass like all the other meets I wish I could attend.
In for pics!

As I said, he is correct, caravaning across a state for a half day meet isnt for everyone. I'm included in this.
I hope everyone has a fun ass time and takes lots of pictures so I can see.
And if for any reason the meet is held within about an hour, meaning 2 hours of driving on my end, then I am more than willing to go and help in any way I can.

Which is why I'm voting for Pismo. We need to at least start deciding on a central location so we can start picking dates and seeing when those who will be attending will be available

If you guys want people to go youre better off asking people where they want verse telling them they don't need to come before a place is even set.
Catch more flies with honey sorta thing.
Have fun guys. In for pics!

I will go to Pismo or anywhere else for that matter, but Fresno is a shit hole. Why would anyone drive hours to the shittiest city in Cali? Let's pick a nice spot with great photo back grounds..the beach is always a great place.
Not a place full of fat ass Mexicans with face tats.

I'm pretty sure I can get a whole bunch of our old aziners out for memories sake... they might not drive Acura's anymore but some of the are still around in ramblings and car talk.
hmmm, probably can get Mizzouse to come out too. I'll start asking some people if they're interested.

Alright then Pismo it is! Another member on here Scott (princelybug) informed me that the distance to Pismo from Sac is 306 miles and from San Diego to Pismo is 300 miles. Doesn't get any closer than that!
With that said, we need to set a date.

300 miles... That's about a five hour drive. I do 155 to Pismo in about 2.5
Sunset would be a good place for all of us to fit...that's in SLO though. Pismo will be busy on the weekend due to tourists from the valley.
I'll try to think of what's in Pismo or surrounding areas once there is a ball park figure of who is going.
There's another area in Arroyo Grande. There's a large parking lot/alley behind the shops in the Arroyo Grande Village. And there are bars and restaurants there. If that's the case, I can be there in two minutes by foot nobody wants to see a stock Civic

What about a two day weekend event meet? Like Friday and Saturday? Or Saturday Sunday? Or is that too much? I think it would be awesome, that way when everyone gets in we could rent a hotel and stay over night and plan other events since it's not your typical down the street meet where everyone will just go home after.

This is what I've gathered so far from the responses. A few of my friends who drive TLs in the Sac area but are not on the forum will be joining as well.
