maybe you guys should post a thread in both the norcal and socal sections and direct their attention here because i JUST saw this thread, i usually dont even go into the general california section, straight to norcal so i never see any of this.

i say vegas like gio said in the previous page
but yeah somebody just needs to set a date, and not change it, even with whiners, cause you can never please everybody on a date, if people really want to go, they will find a way to work around it, and get there

LABOR DAY or COLUMBUS DAY are the final options. Those are the only two dates that have complete ACURA support. I like the way Labor day weekend sounds, but am not sure how many people actually spend the days with family that weekend.

BOTH WEEKENDS ARE THREE DAY WEEKENDS, so either will be GREAT!

Hmm did u mean first weekend "OF" August?
Actually Labor Day is in September... Usually it marks the "END of SUMMER"

Well, I kinda like Labor day weekend also, oh yeah, and the MAIN part of the event will take place most of Saturday. Only some minor extras are planned for Sunday. So either way you should come... LOL. Lat year around 80% of the attendees drove to & back on the same Saturday. Even the some SanDiego guys. A few of the people that stayed ended up with us at HOOTERS.

In my opinion, the only benefit for Columbus day would be the weather. AVERAGE SUNNY & 79 degrees.

Labor Day Weekend would put us up into the upper 80's.

EITHER WAY, this is 100X better than last YEARS 114degrees!

i would say sunday for the main part, cause then people outside of cali would have saturday (or friday night) to drive out, then monday to drive back, so no days have to be taken off (btw i would basically be coming with gio, he's in the same part of town lol, but not his car, man does that thing vibrate badly )
