This is a different "pending" recall for the valvesprings on certain longitudinally-mounted engines. I realize that this was mentioned later in the thread you linked to, but I think this new recall warrants a new thread so people affected by it have a better chance of seeing it....

 

It sure makes me glad I own a Honda/Acura product. It will be interesting to see how this affects the Lexus brand.
