Spy pics: What cars would these be?
I've been seeing 5 test mules driving around Quebec on many highways at any given time. Looks like they're doing high mileage endurance testing.
They seem to have plates from Michigan. The flotilla of cars consist of 3 SUVs and 2 sedans.
The cars look like Saturns, but not sure, and the SUVs would seem to look like a new generation of TrailBlazers/Envoys, but I'm far from sure.
Anyhow, I managed to take pics od them while they were passing me today. I must have seen them around on the highways half a dozen times in the last week and half.
Sorry about the quality, but hey, I was driving while shooting, so please bear with me.

....like the steering wheel, hate the gauge cluster and the center console could be enhanced with an LCD screen.
Also, did Hyundai borrow the climate control unit from the Altima??

I think we should all be in agreement by now that Huyndai will NEVER be synonymous with originality and freshness, thus they will continue to borrow everything from every other manufacturers out there.

didn't you see any of their new concepts? it's a matter of time that we will see a clear design identity from hyundai. they are playing safe right now, and it's working very well. finding a new design identity will be their next step.

you just watch how hyundai will keep on improving on design. their concepts are very promising whether you like it or not.

And the thing with Hyundai and concepts is that their concepts (so far...) never materialize into production models, so I wouldn't take that as a sign of better things to come.

you guys say that now.. but we BETTER not hear any of you say that you'll want a hyundai "__________" in the future. they have VASTLY improved and only getting better.
exactly like anyone else said, wait and watch.

toyota's CEO wanted to visit hyundai's ulsan plant, but hyundai refused. it's just a matter of time, folks. remember, hyundai almost backed out from USA in 1997 due to a poor sales and IMF.
$17k sonata v6 can look like this with simple mods. you can't even get accord v4 for 19k.
sketch of the tibby looks promising. 4 year old tibby still looks decent. it just needs to be faster.
hcd8 concept
new santa fe looks light years better than the current one.
CEED concept
genus concept
keep laughing. i laughed at them too. i laughed at their design, and laughed at their reliablity. after all, it's just korean.
didn't people laugh at samsung too? samsung ,the most profitable company in the world, has taken over sony. except for the sony's playstation, samsung's is better than sony in almost every catagory. it sells more as well.

hyundai learned and studied unlike some other failed companies like mitsu, isuzu, and etc. hyundai could've backed out 1997, but they never gave up and kept on improving.
right now hyundai has 500 designers up from 150 just 5 years ago.
compare xg to azera, previous sonatas to current sonata, santa fe- to new santa fe. people are buying sonatas because it's a great looking best buy.
