I like the Red renderings, I actually think it looks very nice.

That green camoflouged car tells us nothing of how it will look, except a very very basic shape, which the renderings follow pretty closely...

I really do not understand what makes them think people would want a 4-door hatchback at that price point...

And while I appreciate the fact that Porsche is trying to keep its corporate look, I think there are times when you just need to throw out the current look and come up with something new. Porsche has never done a 4-door car before (the Cayenne is an SUV) so this was the perfect opportunity for them to establish a new look. Guess they blew it...

I'm more curious as to why they still insist on camo'ing up that portion of the rear taillight when pretty much the whole car is exposed. There's nothing left to the imagination as to what it's going to look like anyway.

PRICE: $127,000 for the base model?!?!?!

Performance/Pricing
The entry-level powerplant will be Volkswagen’s 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine with 300 bhp, while Porsche’s own drivetrain will be a direct-injection eight-cylinder petrol engine, available in naturally-aspirated guise (450 bhp) and with twin-turbo (520 bhp). In addition – we’re also expecting the Panamera S version.

However, there will be nothing entry-level about the 3.6L’s price tag. According to Edmunds, the base car will come with a sticker price of $127,000. But if you want to have your Panamera sometime next year, plan on paying much more. The V6 car won’t be available until 2010, but the V8-powered cars will be available in 2009. No word on mid-model pricing, but the twin-turbo model is said to sticker from $198,000.

Wow, that AM Rapide makes the Panamera look like shit! I'm a Porsche-phile through and through (I'd take a 911 GT3 over a DB9) but the Panamera rear end just doesn't look right.

That Porsche is a disgrace to automotive design. And further scrolling down to an AM...whhhhat a joke.

127k? or $127, no one is buying it anyway

oh, and in regards to the AM

they need to ditch their signature rear 'flare flip' on this one. its not working on such a large vehicle. hard to sell people on aerodynamic design when the car is longer than a boat.

great looker nonetheless!

The Aston is far, far superior but honestly, I think an RS6 is fine.

I don't understand this new design movement. Especially when I see CLS 500s all over used car lots. Seems like people lease them but don't purchase them. *shrug*

I always thought that Hyundai/Kai are good at copying others. Now they have competition.

That V6 in the Panamera with that price tag does not make sense at all.

Ive got to say i really think Porsche failed on the design of this thing. The AM and Maserati Quattroporte look far superior.

Nothing wrong with Korea (I wanna go there someday) but WTF is it doing in Korea? Why are they testing it there?
