The problem with Buick as OpelUSA is that a lot of people are going to have a hard time overcoming that stigma. Which sucks because Buick factories put out good cars.

IMO, I think more people have the stigma that Buick puts out cars for old people.

My Dad had a 1984 LeSabre that he finally got rid just last year. It was one of two cars that I first learned to drive on. I learned to parallel park that sucker.

ROFL ... Dude that car (IIRC) was like 22 feet long

Regarding Buick, if I wanted one of the Enclave/Acadia/Whatever clones I'd get the Buick every day of the week and twice on Sunday. And I'm 37 ... Old but an infant compared to Buick's traditional demographic.

+1. The Enclave is the a classy ass crossover, period. I think that people are reading to much into the old people stigma. With the right marketing, product, and brand message anyone's image can be turned around. I see alot of young (under 50) people driving Enclaves. The new Lacrosse will hopefully help also. Look at what the CTS did for Caddy... the XF for Jag... the thing is, GM can't stop at just one or two cars. They have to build on the momentum of success storys.

I agree.... as for me I truly don't give a rat's ass who makes the car, it could be a Chinese car company for all I care, as long as its a safe car, looks appealing, is at least decently well-built, reliable, fun to drive, comfortable, and a good value, not too terrible resale, etc. That's just me.... anyways point is I'd take a new CTS any day, and same goes for the Regal/Invicta/whatever they're going to call it. And I have seen some pretty young people in the new CTS.... same goes for the XF - which looks awesome in person BTW, especially when its in black and it creeps up slowly next to you on the highway at night.
