But I'm glad you highlighted this quote, because it's at least a little bit of answer to the criticism that this article didn't explain the rankings. Even without anything else, this is an explanation.

Oops, sorry; I scanned for some mention of Automobile and must've missed it.
Shall I delete or with the PTB do the "honors"?

They're bringing the brand over,starting with the 2-seater sports car. After that, they'll need to flesh out the line, so... :-)
Hopefuly they won't wait too long since there are lots of places where the micro-car makes sense, no?
I expect you'll get your wish in a year or so...

Maybe I can save this thread by hijacking it…
I saw the original Smart in Italy. It's even funkier in person. It was parked perpendicular to the curb and was only as long as the parallel-parked cars were WIDE.

SMART is bringing a micro SUV to the US for sure, probably the coupe and maybe the city car, in that order of likelihood, apparently.
No word on pricing.
Could be very interesting...
