I think it's the blue car also - front-end reminds of the JDM Odyssey, which is not a bad thing.

The blue one does say "Civic" in Japanese.... I don't think that box is a xB since it's called bB in Japan. PLus the Japanese on top reads "Corolla" probably the new Corolla RunX. The other car is a Vitz (Echo).

 

If that is the new Civic, its not very original, Honda copied the Volvo S40 side profile and slapped on a JDM Odyessy front end and call it the new Civic.

I thought the 7th gen Si looked like a minivan this is just as bad, but yet better looking than aging 7th gen Civics. Lets just hope Honda steps up to the plate on this one and gives it a better engine and FOUR WHEEL DISC BRAKES on the sedans and coupes!!!

I'll wait for "actual" photos before I say more.

 

The thing is, the Civic name is used all over the world but they look different depending on the market. I'm pretty sure any USDM Civic design will come out of US Honda design house not Japan. The platform might be Japanese (they want to share the platform globaly to save money) but the look for USDM will cater to US tastes.

 

The American Civic will look like that except it will have the 2003 Accord headlights.


Seriously though, I hope is IS the bottom one because it's the only one that looks good.

 

The two hatches on the right in from top to bottom....top looks like a Scion xB while the Bottom the plate says "Vitz" so I am assuming thats new Vitz hatch, both are kinda cool...the sketch on the left is the Civic.

I sure hope it doesn't have the NA Accord headlights.

 

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't, the Civic has always had a more globally uniform styling and followed the JDM Honda line up, while Odyssey and Accord were different but the two shared the same design scheme (think US Ody/Accord and jdm Ody/Accord). Unless they decide that the Civic is too small for the US market (which I doubt) like they did with the Accord and Odyssey, they'll not spend the money to design a new Civic just specifically for the US market, which also means it will follow the JDM design scheme.
