i know the new beetle is totally different from the previous gens, but i would take Mini coupe over that any day.

beetle for sure. That mini doesn't look that great. I have seen a few of them on the street and it's just EWWWWW The ones I have seen were red and baby blue but maybe it looks better in black.

Never driven a Mini but I hear it's a blast to drive... went to a VW dealer and they didn't allow test drives.

Definitely gonna have to test drive both, but I imagine the Beetle would be similar to the GTI my friend owns.

they wouldn't let you test drive one? well that's weird. How are you suppose to buy a car if you don't test drive it?

I haven't driven either of them, but if I had to choose on looks alone, it'd be beetle. but that's just personal preference off course. My gf wants a mini, a bit older one tho, so I might get a chance to drive one soon
