So sad! I had a ton of Hot Wheels when I was a kid!

Going through college, my wife (girl friend at that time) new that I always wanted a Lotus Esprit and a Corvette Z06 since I was a little kid. She bought me the hot wheels version for my birthday and told me one day I could get the keys, lol.
I didn't have a lot growing up, some things I did have were legos, lincoln logs, GI Joes, and Hot Wheels.
I don't know, maybe I'm still emotional from losing my Grandmother recently, but this story makes me very sad.
RIP for sure.
