Yes, the Tribeca was disgusting before, now you can afford it, inside seems cool for the first 3 minutes, but when you begin to touch the plastic on the console you come back to reality very FAST...

After seeing it at the autoshow...the new RX is the first lexus in a couple years that i feel really lets me down.
It will sell like hot cakes though.

looks okay. the RX will always sell. the RX is no different than an engagement ring. the prices are always set on providing the wifey with a SUV that she "thinks she needs"
disagree all you want. but from what ive seen with the avg driver, this is the case.

not feeling lexus' design direction with using the chrome trim to interpret design lines. the trim should be an accent, not a deciding factor for form.
look at the grilles, window lining, license plate framing, theres an odd use of chrome everywhere.

Definitely hit by an ugly stick - inside and out!!
I just cannot get over how UGLY this new Lexus RX350 is!!! The bizarre grille and headlight design is just WEIRD - what on earth is that pointy chrome trim that points towards the headlights that do not line up with the grille? And then on the inside, that dashboard makes me want to throw up! That ugly curvature is just totally downmarket and ridiculous!

Why does the hood overhang the headlights? I can see a lot of crap getting stuck in there.
Other then that, I pretty much agree with the general consensus here: it's horrible.

Is that navi a touch screen? That's going to be hard for people with bad backs to reach it.
Not to mention HORRIBLE placement of the shifter.

good god that thing is a wreck. i dont like lexus' new direction with using secondary design elements to grasp form. the morphing of headlights and aluminum trim to flow with body lines looks too forced. this new approach has GOT to go.

Lexus' are getting ugly quick, IMHO. The LS and ES passes, to me, but just barely. They're so plain... The the GS cool. I don't like the looks of the RX, IS, GX, or LX...

2013 Lexus RX redesign revealed in leaked brochure
http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2013-...photo-4815792/
There's no doubting the importance of the Lexus RX. It's one of the top-selling models from one of the top-selling luxury marques. At the cutting edge when introduced in the late '90s, the RX is now on its third iteration, with a fourth on the way – and this appears to be our best look at it yet.
Coming your way via a leaked brochure, the 2013 Lexus RX is apparently undergoing a facelift that will bring its appearance in line with the brand's latest design language – centering around the pinched chrome-edged "spindle" grille that characterizes the front of the latest GS sedan. Reshaped headlamps with a strip of LEDs flank either side, and, of course, it's all riding on new wheels.
While the RX may not be exactly what you'd call "performance-oriented" – floating as it does down the road and communicating less through the steering wheel than you'd expect from a pouting pre-teen behind a slammed bedroom door – the new model is apparently getting an F Sport trim kit. That would include a new front bumper, honeycomb grille, rear spoiler, bigger wheels and tinted lamps, with sportier trim to match on the inside.

I like it. WAY better than when I thought the 3rd gen debuted, even though it grew on me.

I like it. Better than the beak that's for sure.
If Lexus/Toyota could get their vehicles to not drive like Ben Stein talks, they may have my money next.
