I really like it... but 450H+ STARTS at $58k... um... As much as i like it, why would I choose this over X3M40i or GLC43 or even Model Y? All of them will run circles around this?
NX450h+ Luxury 2.5-liter 4-cyl. $56,635
NX450h+ F Sport Luxury 2.5-liter 4-cyl. $57,975

its purchasing Lexus manufacturing quality. soon we will keep cars for 50 years. there is shortage of minerals and people who can do quality work in manufacturing.
that RAV4 prime is refined platform for the price.

Seems like this car will have epic money on the hood or never sell.

NX is based off of RAV4. I think RAV4/CRV should be in the same mid size CUV segment as X3/GLC. obviously different market.

It makes Rav4Prime a fucking bargain with same "engine" but even better performance than the NX450h+...(Rav4Prime has longer EV range, faster acceleration and overall better MPG due to weight) and it is really not missing out on any features.
The Lexus badge is not worth $17k -$20k more starting price.
This whole pricing structure for NX450h+ just does not make any sense.

fully loaded XSE RAV4 Prime is closer to $49K.
Lexus NX has Lexus Safety Sense+ 3.0, digital key to share vehicles with upto 7 people, 17 speaker ML sound system (current RX is 15 speaker), adoptive variable suspension, performance dampers on F sport, auto diming outside mirrors, much improved interior, longer warranty.
All within $10K of RAV4. just the sound system worth $2K upgrade.

The new NX marks the introduction of the new Tazuna cockpit design. Taking its name from a Japanese word describing a rider’s control of their horse using the rein, it focuses on giving the driver direct, intuitive control of all the instruments around the driver.
Key features include Head-Up Display (HUD) and touch-tracer switches on the steering wheel, which can be customised to the driver’s preferred functions. When the switch is used, its shape is shown on the head-up display, so the driver doesn’t have to look down at the wheel to check the function they want to operate. While the driver experiences the new Tazuna cockpit design, passengers enjoy an increased sense of spaciousness with an elevated level of comfort, quality and attention to detail that are quintessentially Lexus.

A-TSX Oldie
As much as I loved the initial news of the plugin 450h+, unfortunately from the latest news, it looks like I'll be keeping my hybrid rather than stepping down to the NX.
Likely due to packaging/space reasons, the 450h+ will not have the panoramic roof OR the Mark Levinson available. The other models will have them as options.
I could be wrong, but I think the 450h+ won't have much in terms of options. The prices you see listed are basically the fully loaded model.
And yes, it pains me, but the RAV4 Prime is still the better buy. It also comes with a 1500W 110V AC plug to allow for V2L, which the NX doesn't have.

new RFT tires.
https://global.toyota/en/newsroom/lexus/35290949.html
The F SPORT is equipped with the latest Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) as standard equipment to achieve both high levels of maneuverability and ride comfort. The wheel fastening structure has been changed from stud bolt and hub nut fastening to hub bolt fastening. By increasing rigidity and reducing unsprung weight (approx. 0.7kg less than when the hub nut is fastened), it contributes to a clean and responsive steering feel and a high quality ride. The 20-inch and 18-inch tires are equipped with Extended Mobility Tire (EMT)*3 to provide a high-quality ride while ensuring the ability to drive a safe distance in the event of a puncture. The steering adopts Lexus' first variable rack gear*4 to enhance stability at high speeds and enable a quick cornering response. The new variable rack steering gear also excels at low speed handling. For braking, a new ergonomically-shaped brake pedal pad has been developed for easier switching between pedals and easier brake pedal depression. The PHEV and HEV are the first Lexus vehicles to feature a pedal return damping mechanism, enhancing the dynamic quality of the pedal release operation. In addition, a faster reacting, revised brake actuator better supports the function of the Lexus Safety Sense +.

That's not better. That means they are charging an extra amount of money because the government will pick up the tab for some of the car.
Yes.
