Looks about the same to me, but I never really noticed the older version much at all. Definitely looks like a boat. That car excites me about as much as going to the dentist

ES330 is definitely for those who wants quiet and reliable luxury car. i love its interior, leather, and the world leading quietness. ES330 is so quiet, no other competitor comes close.

Its the same thing, except with new tails and projectors...I think Lexus is going with projectors in all of their cars...I think all of the cards have it, except the GS...with the next gen does...

I realize that Toyota sought to distinguish the ES from its Camry sibling but, this experiment has gone HORRIBLY awry. $.02

The only thing missing is a more powerful engine.

Just wonder what's on Toyota's mind. Most competitors, such as J35, G35, TL, are having around 260-270 hps. Even the upcoming 3.2L-V6 from Volks/Audi is rumoured to have 255 hps.
Do people really prefer luxury over performance ? If it is the case, why would Lexus put a V6, not an inline-4, into the IS300 ?

The ES300 used to be the best selling entry-level luxury car before the 2nd gen. TL started to appear. Now that the TL has taken the ES300/330's throne, and the G35 has received lots of spotlights. But the ES330 doesn't seem to receive much attention despite complete facelift and weak engine upgrade. I don't know if this tells something.

I dont think we'll see a GS330. Remember, the engine in the GS300 is an inline engine (cousin of the Supra engine). The 3.3 liter engine in the RX/ES is a V-config. engine.

ES 330 doesn't get attention as magazines are geared towards sports and sporty cars. The ES 330 doesn't need it anyway.
Seems all Lexi are moving to projector lamps. I never was big on ES 330 styling on the outside. The interior is plain ol
