Word is it has a 200 hp, 2.0-L turbo.
For comparison purposes, the 2006 Accent sedan with a manual tranny weighs in at 2,354 lbs. If the SR came in around 2,400-2,500lbs, should make for a fun to drive car.
If the production wersion comes out very similar looking to this, Hyundai will have a winner.

Hyundai Accent SR
In the spirit of all "hot hatches" dominating the European charts, Hyundai shows this stylish barnburner. Technically a concept, it's in production ramp-up already. When we think of where Hyundai stood five years ago, it's remarkable to see such good-looking designs happening. The SR goes on sale in Europe by mid-2006 with 18-inch wheels and gets a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine good for at least 200 hp.
