^^^

Looks like a 3-dr Mazda3 ... Interesting. Needs the HP to back it up though. No 110hp engines!

Word is it has a 200 hp, 2.0-L turbo.

For comparison purposes, the 2006 Accent sedan with a manual tranny weighs in at 2,354 lbs. If the SR came in around 2,400-2,500lbs, should make for a fun to drive car.

If the production wersion comes out very similar looking to this, Hyundai will have a winner.

I like it, but the designs don't look original at all.

Yes, but designs aren't the reason why people buy Korean cars.

BTW, car looks good. I even see a little bit of the headlight from the RL in there, along with the profile from the Civic hatch. At least it gel, somewhat.

If that Accent SR had 200hp and looked like that in production I'd sell my Mazda3 tomorrow

Hyundai Accent SR

In the spirit of all "hot hatches" dominating the European charts, Hyundai shows this stylish barnburner. Technically a concept, it's in production ramp-up already. When we think of where Hyundai stood five years ago, it's remarkable to see such good-looking designs happening. The SR goes on sale in Europe by mid-2006 with 18-inch wheels and gets a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine good for at least 200 hp.

Only thing I don't like is the shape of the taillights. If Hyundai comes to market with that interior, it'll rule the small hatch market.
