I almost want to praise it for the utility aspect (ala element)
but it is not an attractive little sucker at all.....i actually like the element.

Very functional! I'm diggin' the fold-em-up seats (i.e. Element)
I read somewhere that the Japanese design their cars around functionality, whereas GM/Ford/Chrysler design to a target cost (kudos to Chrysler for the 1st minivan... wait, what am I saying?!)

I keep looking at this thing...and damnit if it isnt growing on me...the functionality is too damn good.
And if my freelance takes off this time around I might have to drop having a "sportier" car for something more functional Which is why I was thinking element...even though I love the new A3.
This thing seems to fit the bill as well.

Interesting. It looks very narrow. I like the laminate wood floor!

Wish they would put that interior in a newly designed element. Engineered wood floor system makes sense considering the durability vs carpet in a cargo area, seems most companies would rather opt for plastic in the US though.

The element doesnt have carpet. Its like a polyurethane floor. unless this is what you are meaning from your last sentence.

Wow, quite interesting...kinda scratching my head on the look but I'm always somewhat biased favorably towards Honda products...
