The engine won't have anything to do with the F-series engine in the S2000. That engine (and line) will cease to exist when the S2K does. It's already a generation behind the K-series from the RSX/TSX (which technically had its block based off the F-series, but with an i-VTEC head.) If it is another 4 cylinder, which it likely will be, it'll be from the K-series, probably with next-gen VTEC and direct injection (if not a turbo.)
