That thing is so light, I'd want to take a dump before driving it so i can maximize performance.

Very nice.

Why do you need "launch control" on an MT equipped car?

Sounds like an RSX Type-R motor to me.

Ugly body, but I'd take one for the performance.

S2k's F20 motor is not i-VTEC. I'm with CGTSX, it's most likely the JDM ITR K20 motor. BTW, there is no RSX TypeR, CG.

Is there any chance that they will be able to get this car DOT approved for the US market?

No way - the costs to do that are just too high. And then there's EPA cert, marketing, dealers, etc...

You might be able to get it street legal as a kit car if you bought the car and engine separately and mated them together in the US on your own.

So, given its weight and etc., it's a nice alternative to the Ariel Atom...?

Still not as light...but, it also has a windshield...to prevent the bug-up-nostril issue.

Even so it would probably be an insurance nightmare. If they can certify a Lotus Elise Honda should be able to do the same with this car. But, In know it won't happen - at least not until S2K sales dry up.
