Somewhere, someplace, some dumb motherf$@$er at GM needs to be shot in the head for not bringing something like that over here to the States. Talk about competition to the Chrysler 300.

I think the good Falcon would be like $40k which is tough competition down here. I think Ford says that nobody would buy such an expensive Ford since the Mustang is pretty fast for like $15k.

I really like the interiors shown. I particularly like there upscale Calais V interior (the all black one shown). I think it's fit and finish is awesome, and i love the design. I wouldn't mind them bringing that interior over intact.

Love that car!!!!!!
The rear is a little plain...but still good....my only complaint.

I wouldn't be suprised if these came over in some time under Pontiac. I keep reading Pontiac wants to be GM's performance brand w/ all RWD cars

Go look at the current GTO's interior - not too shabby.

Hence, American cars don't have nice interiors, they have to pull the car up from Aussie land

Too bad GM can't put a decent interior like this Holden for their home country. It seems like the buy American crowd is keeping GM afloat and yet GM sh**s all over them when it comes to bringing out a total package. And you know who else is to blame besides the bean counters, the UAW.
I mean their (GM) powertrains are getting better e.g. (The 3.6 in the CTS), their chassis' seem to be getting better, but over all when it comes to putting everything all together they all seem to clash and build quality seems to go down the drain.

Yes.
I was responding to someone wondering why there were no GM cars in the US with a good interior.
My answer was basically - yes, there is a GM car in the US (I dind't say "made in the US") with a very good interior, it is Pontiac GTO.

Back a few years ago people in the US looked at Holden Commodores and said the same thing, "bring them over asap".
So GM brought one over as a Pontiac GTO and for some reason a lot of people decided that they didn't like it.

I just don't understand why you gotta fold the whole seatback down to get cupholders...
