Heico Sportiv: V70 T6 AWD R-Design (based on Volvo V70) news
From Worldcarfans: http://www.worldcarfans.com/11006232...-heico-sportiv
Volvo specialists at German tuning firm Heico Sportiv have created a new special edition set for release in Germany. The Volvo V70 T6 AWD R-Design will be limited to 100 units, with a price-tag of €70,193, including tax.
Engineers have tuned the straight-six turbocharged petrol engine to deliver a power increase of seven percent to 321 horsepower (239 kW / 325 PS) and up to 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque. The Volvo-approved tuner uses "a revised engine management system" to help with the improved performance. When mated to a Geartronic six-speed automatic transmission, the refined engine get the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds on its way to an electronically limited 250 km/h (155 mph) top speed. The car has a combined fuel consumption rating of 10.6 liters per 100 kilometers, or 22.2 mpg-US.
Other features on the 30-millimeter lowered car include 19-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires, sports dampers and springs, and a sport suspension. Also available are 18-inch R-Design wheels wrapped in Pirelli winter tires. A performance exhaust was also installed, as well as new bumpers, side sills, and a roof spoiler. While inside, the driver and passengers should enjoy the aluminum and leather features.
Each of the Volvo V70 T6 AWD R-Design units will be painted in Sapphire Black Metallic paint. The car will go on sale over the summer.

this is probably the tamest of these design threads. if it weren't for the chrome i wouldn't think this car was anything out of the ordinary.
i'd still get a Subaru if I needed an AWD wagon though

HOT! volvo wagons dont get the respect they deserve - by a long shot. theres so much heritage.
ive been a big big fan since the 88' 740 manual turbo wagon...and everything in between.
70k? oh well. its a niche market anyway.

IMHO, it's unlikely to run $70k stateside. I'd wager on a $50kish pricetag. Honestly, I like it....as I do most of the Volvo lineup.
