2006 BMW Hartge H50 V10
The 3 series BMW from Hartge is a masterpiece in many ways and not all of them are visual. The Hartge engineers have achieved something very special under the thermodynamically optimized bonnet in particual. Fitted with a modified M5 V10 engine, a 7-speed SMG transmission and the Hartge modification to raise top speed from the electronically limited 155 mph to 200 mph, the H50 V10 puts all its power – 550 bhp and torque of 384 lb-ft – onto the tarmac via a reinforced rear axle and a special suspension setup that is adjustable in terms of both rebound and compression.
Also new and made especially for the Hartge H50 V10, is the stainless steel exhaust system, which turns the V10 sound into an acoustic delight. Customers can choose between two dual round (or oval) tail pipes. The wheel / tire combination consists of 9 x 20 offset 40 at the front and 10 x 20 offset 40 at the back fitted with 245/30 ZR20 and 285/25 ZR20 tires respectively.
The Hartge H50 V10 Interior
The interior highlights are a 205 mph speedometer, the carbon interior trim, the 3-spoke leather steering wheel with carbon inserts, the illuminated aluminum gear knob and the leather handbrake cover.
With the H50 V10, Hartge is continuing its long tradition of making wolves in sheep's clothing for individualists who attach importance to understatement.
The H50 V10 is based on the BMW 3 series saloon (E90). A comparable conversion is currently being developed for the Touring (E91) and Coupe (E92).

That was uncalled for...
This does indeed look like a chop...Both Hartge names (front and side) look chopped, and the black just doesnt seem convincing...its a sweet car if its real picture and Im sure the V10 is a real hoot...
PS. Do they even make tires with that low of a profile? thats like a inch of sidewall.

Back again this year: the HARTGE H50 V10 under the guise of the E92 3 Series Coupe. The first thing that strikes you is the two-tone paintwork, then the ventilated bonnet and front wings, as well as the HARTGE front spoiler lip and HARTGE boot spoiler.
From the Saarland region, the H50 V10 features a thermo-dynamically optimised bonnet. In addition, HARTGE's engineers and mechanics have achieved an extraordinary feat of engineering: the installation of a modified M5 V10 engine producing 550 hp (404 kW) and a torque of 520 Nm, which is coupled to a 7-speed SMG transmission and de-restriction to 320 km/h.
To help the H50 V10 put all this power onto the road, it is also fitted with a reinforced rear axle and a special suspension system that can be adjusted not only for height but also for rebound and compression.

Hartge E92 3 Series Cabriolet Revealed
WYHI...?
From Worldcarfans...
From Worldcarfans...
World famous BMW tuning house, Hartge, revealed their E92 3 Series Coupe styling package in the M5 V10 engine transplant prototype known as the H50 V10. Minus the ventilated bonnet, the kit is essentially the same for the cabriolet model seen here. But now, you don't have to imagine it. Feast your eyes on the snappy renderings of what it will look like. Hopefully, Hartge will give our man on the scene, Nick Hall, a crack at it so we can give you the details and real life shots. For the 335i bi-turbo engine, no major engine mods have been announced other than an ECU upgrade which gives a pawltry 34hp and 37 lb-ft of torque (293 kW / 340 hp @ 5800 rpm and 450 Nm / lb-ft 332 @ 1500 rpm) extra.
The perception of ECU tuning on an aspirated engine leaves one uninspired by these numbers. But expect more dramatic engine tuning packages in the coming months as tuners devise a completely new development program for BMW's first turbo engine in 30 years.

Hartge H50
I just met this nice guy(Keith) at the local Flagship car wash and he was driving a Hartge H50 V10 E90 It's the first time I ever see one with my own eyes. Basically what he did, he bought a 335 and shipped it out in Germany to get it modified. We're talking about an M5 motor, suspension, 7 speed sequential the whole thing. He turned it on and I nearly died. It's a beast. I regret not asking about the price. I cussed myself not to have my camera ready.
