The way I read it, it's 1.5 million Euros on top of the cost of a Carrera GT. So your total spend would be something like this:

1.5M Euros= $1,965,000 US
Carrera GT= $440,000
Total = $2,405,000

I guess if you have $2 million to spend on a car, what's another $440,000?

i dont think its worth it, but then again dan, your right, if you have this kinda money a couple extra mil is nothing, would you pic a enzo and mod it, a mclaren and mod it, which still has a better 0-60 time or blow 2.4 mil or get this carerra

btw, a mclaren f1 does 0-60 in 2.9 as opposed to this carerra gt which does 3.4 even after the extensive mods

I'd just hire a crew of engineers and builders and make me one of each. Then I'd offer to build them for other billionaires and write off the original three as business expenses.

but if you had a choice of the 3 which one would you choose, the mclarens 0-60 time is still way under that of this car, impressed by the mclaren

The McLaren was more about top speed than handling. From what I've seen, it sounds like it's a bear to drive. The Enzo is a beautifully balanced car in terms of acceleration, top speed, and handling.

This Carrera is probably the best of both worlds. They didn't increase the weight yet they've added tons more power, bigger brakes, and better aerodynamics to the package. It would smoke an Enzo in any performance benchmark.

I'm sure you could do similar mods to an Enzo but would it be as nice? I'm not sure... It would be a shame to turbo the sweetest naturally aspirated engine in a production car. Something tells me the character of the car would be lost.

but i saw a mclaren going around a track, in perosn, man this thing can handle, carbon fiber frame, it cant be too much of a bear, but then again, i dont think any of us would know, i think id take the mclaren and buy a mansion, i searched gemballa carrera gt in google, and it came up in this autobahn.com thread, man it was funny, everyone was complaining about how its too ricey, n this n that

They built the Porsche GT so that they can go back to LeMans. Rules state that any car entered into LeMans have to be available to the public. I just wonder what category the GT would go under? Probably GTS since it’ll never go against the Audi R8.

What a huge markup from the normal price of the GT. It it worth it? I'd just take the body kit.

well i dont think its worth it as far as performance goes, aerodynamics are pretty nice, your shaving off .5 secs in 0-60 and who knows what else, but for people buying this car, that extra 1.9 mil is probably chump change

The Bugatti will put out similar numbers for a bunch less dough... well, if it ever comes out, that is. And Porsche makes some very good cars, I don't think you can rule them out at any price range.

The McLaren was a well balanced racing machine in camo, before the Carrera GT or Enzo were thoughts. It has ver good handling as it weighs just over 1 ton. It is hard to manuever at slow speeds though because of no power steering, but no way in hell would I take on near a parking lot so. And the power and brakes match its handling as well.

It looks nice, but that 0-62 sounds about the same as a regular Carrera GT. And I mean, I doubt most owners are gonna be able to drive the regular ones close to their limits, let alone this one.

From personal experience, I will attest that the CGT is the best car I've ever driven when it comes to overall performance. It is simple to drive at 7/10 and in the right hands can be amazing at 10/10 (which I am not good enough for...yet).

Here's the other part: for the next few months NEW Carrera GTs are still available for order. Try finding a USED Enzo for under $2 M.

Obscenely gorgeous and outrageous!!! I just love the sound of the exhaust in a stock Carrera GT (I followed one last week on the freeway for a few miles). But can you imagine what this beast would sound like.
