Brakes are just brakes, as far as stop distance go they are all about as good as it gets.
But not sure about the brake fade since it is not mentioned.

But that acceleration tho..... 149mph in 1/4 and 9.8 secs to 150...

Brakes are not just brakes, it's the vehicle physics and dynamics (tire coefficient of friction, weight distribution, mass, brake modulation/force/thermal/friction management, downforce,...). I woulda expected the LaFerrari to break into <100' for the 60-0 and not be beaten by a Z06 for 80-0 where downforce should have come into factor. Brake fade was none for R&T technique for either.

What i am saying is when cars get to certain level, their braking power/distance are all very similar. Maybe on a good day the Laferarri will brake into 100s.

Whether if we are comparing GTR to Z06 to R8 to ........ P1, Laferarri the difference is very small if you just look at the #s.

In comparison, GTR has 60 to 0 in 93 ft and 70mph-0 at 153 ft. Right up there with Z06 and Laferarri.

others with even better braking distance.

RS5: 60-0 in 101 ft
GT500 - 101 ft
RS7 - 101 ft
R8 convertible - 101 ft
SLS - 100 Ft
Aventator - 100 ft
Camaro ZL1 - 100 Ft
C63 black - 99 ft
XJR - 99 ft
F80 M3 - 99 ft
Camaro SS 1LE - 99 ft
CTS Vsport - 98 ft
LFA - 94 ft
Ironically regular Corvette Stingray Convertible - 93 ft

Fast Brake: 20 Best 60 to 0 Distances Recorded by Motor Trend All Pages

Just shows between 93-101 ft is about as good as it gets for a production car.

Your forgetting the other impoartant part of the equation for stopping. The pavement surface will affect braking since it affects the tire coefficnet of friction. IDK about motorTrend but AFAIK R&T uses the same surface type fpr their tests. Note how MotorTrend got 91 for a Z06 but R&T got 105, dramatic difference (~20%), probably due to conditions of pavement and other environmental factors (temp,...).

That is what i am saying..... when R&T did the test to get the 101 ft, it could have been under 100 ft on another day at another place. same as the Z06.

also the list is not to show which car has better braking, rather it shows all of those high performance cars from bargain super car to super car to hyper cars, the brake distance by #s alone are all very similar.

So it is not surprising to see Z06's braking number not far off from the LaFerrari.

Talking Poopdick McFartington too Small for The Rock

Amusing.

Dwayne Johnson is a large man. There's a reason he's most often referred to as The Rock. He's a part of the cast of the recent Fast and the Furious films, and he's also currently starring in the HBO series Ballers. It's the latter that has caused a bit of a buzz among car enthusiasts recently thanks to a couple of Instagram posts. Johnson recently saw two new co-stars for the next season of Ballers arrive in the vehicular form.

The Rock posted a shot of a LaFerrari and a GTA Spano. Both cars are fascinating bits of carbon fiber, aluminum, glass, and engine, and both are a bit on the tragic side with regards to The Rock. You see... he can't fit into either vehicle.

Here's the text from The Rock's post regarding the LaFerrari:

"She was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean - she was the best damn woman that I ever seen..." 950 horsepower. Less than 25 made (matte white) in the world. Selling on the streets for $3-5 million. The great benefit of producing and starring in @HBO's #BALLERS is that I can admire, touch and play with this #LaFerrari which is one of the most beautifully engineered and sought after exotic cars in the world. The drawback...? Daddy don't fit in it.

This is truly a first world problem we have here. Millions of dollars spread across two cars, and poor Mr. The Rock can't fit in or drive either one of them. Regardless, they look pretty cool in his driveway. Maybe he can reach out to Shaq and see who the super-sized ball player used to stretch out a Lamborghini Gallardo?
