Not even, like 52k and some change. the car had almost zero options
67k is a little high, buuuut I think there wanting to make this thing a monster and they KNOW they can sell it @ 67k.

how about a regular C6 for $63k ??
like it or not, the C6 is a hot commodity right now.. you will see some outrageous prices for em.

Also, remember what the ZR-1 went for?? Right around $65-70k. And that was in 1990 (!!). So it's not like this is something they've never done before, ask a relatively high price for a Vette...

Ridiculous ...

Can't imagine all dealers charging that. Seems they were wanting a high bidding considering they posted it on autotrader. Same thing happened with the GTO, last i heard some dealers were selling the GTO for 24k. I could see paying 63k if the car was remarkable in everyway, but its clearly just a corvette, big power/style, little else.

The invoice on a base coupe is $38K believe it or not.
I priced a well optioned coupe at Edmunds it came up to:
Invoice: $48,600
MSRP: $55,600
TMV: same as invoice

Spy Shots: '06 Chevy Corvette Z06 - - by Brenda Priddy - - Source: The Car Connection
Packing 500 horsepower with its 7.0-liter V-8, the high-powered Z06 Corvette will be introduced by Chevrolet early next year. Sources are speculating that Z06 coupe, shown here, will be introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January, followed days later by the convertible introduction at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Wider tires and Brembo brake calipers give the first clue to the true identity of this masked Corvette. Rumors of a removable hardtop option are also circulating. But we may have to wait till January to find out more.

I got talked out of going to the Detroit show last year, but this one sounds like it will be very worthwhile! It seems a bit weird for me to fly up to Detroit to see a Vette, though, when I live sooo close to Bowling Green.
Maybe by the time it gets cold here and I remember that Detroit is 100 times colder, I'll decide not to go again. But for now...

Here is how to fix the yellow car, imo:
remove rice wing
lower 1" in the rear
better, more fitting wheels - there are tons that look better
and those 3 changes alone, would make the car look 100x better

I also really like the blacked-out treatment to the headlights... looks waay better than body-color... hope they do that too, but I think they won't...

Actually I think there will be a scoop. If you have an account at digitalcorvettes.com you will see a spy photo here that looks like there is a scoop.

New from digitalcorvettes.com (Thanks Gav, for the heads up):
There is a discussion about whether this is a Photoshop or not, but most of the discussion leans towards this being VERY close to correct, especially since it matches the spy photos so well.
