In a field of luxury sports sedans that are canted more toward the posh end of that space, the Cadillac CTS is a breath of fresh air for driving enthusiasts. Its rear-wheel-drive layout, balanced chassis, and direct steering make quick work of curvy back roads. It imparts a feeling of athleticism from which modern BMWs have drifted. And its edgy exterior styling stands out from the crowd, for better or worse. The Caddy also offers all the most popular infotainment features that premium-segment buyers expect, including an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot. However, the CTS underdelivers on the luxury front: rear-seat passenger space is limited, build quality isn’t consistent, and powertrain refinement is subpar. Such shortcomings are what kept the Cadillac in second place behind the Mercedes-AMG E43 in a recent five-car comparison test.

The last-gen CTS-V wagon's desirability among enthusiasts these days is no secret. It is a 556-horsepower supercharged V8-powered station wagon with rear-wheel drive and an optional manual transmission, after all. But it seems one owner has taken the CTS-V's collectability to the extreme.

This 2014 CTS-V wagon has just 362 miles on the odometer. No, that's not a typo. Three hundred sixty-two. I put more miles on my car this weekend than this car has done in its entire life. It's virtually brand new, passed through collections since its first owner. It's a well-optioned car, too—it sports the manual transmission, the "Red Obsession" paint, as well as the heated and ventilated Recaro seats. According to the seller, the car "is in museum-worthy condition." We wouldn't doubt it. From the pictures, it looks like it rolled straight off the showroom floor.

The only unoriginal piece of hardware on the car is the battery, which was replaced just prior to the car being listed for sale. Luckily for the discerning collector, the original battery was retained, and will come with the car upon its sale. (A little over the top, no?)

Then there's the price. The seller is asking $84,495 Buy It Now on eBay Motors, which is a lot of money. The car topped out at around $75,000 when new with all option boxes checked, just for some context. Manual CTS-V wagon prices are currently floating around $50,000-$60,000, so this is definitely on the high end of the spectrum—but for good reason. The car has virtually no miles, remember.

Before it appeared on eBay Motors, it went up for auction on Bring a Trailer earlier this month, and ended at a price of $70,000 with reserve not met. That should give you an idea of what the true market value for this CTS-V is.
