Acura: ZDX News
I'm afraid I agree that this grill will be sized out of bounds with the other lines (similar to the TL). The TSX looks more acceptable, but remember that is the Euro Accord, so they had to fit it inside the already existing lines. The TL seems to be the real "Acura" implementation of this new icon grill . I don't particularly care for it, but better get used to it for awhile until it runs it's course.
alsoI think Acura is having the same issue as BMW did in the early 2000's.... their vehicles looked so good that they figured "eh, why not mix it up a little and give out cars questionable styling and call it artsy fartsy and contemporary" so they came out with "flame surfacing" and the tumor spread to other models in the lineup. They are starting to get better now though with the new Z4 and 7-series.... hopefully Acura comes around in the same way.

I know!
Colin, I agree with you! So far, I love what I am seeing with this vehicle - the profile is just very dynamic and the back quarter view shows a lot of passion and emotions in its styling. I think this is a big step forward for Acura. Japanese cars usually lack these elements. I can't wait to see the unveiled vehicle!
the styling details here are just the same ones from the TL only in the shape of a CUV. The current Acura design language seems to work better on SUVs than they do on sedans. Out of all the new faces, I like the MDX the best.
You should use the Acura images and photoshop us a real one

i would think that acura has heard or read comments about the grille from dealers, reviews, blogs, and forums like this. but hearing and listening are different things.
after the negative reaction to the grille when the new TSX and mid-gen RL were released, i'd have hoped they would have gone back to the drawing board with the TL. maybe it was too late at that point.
thing is, there are way too many other complaints besides the grille. maybe they're focusing on those. doubt it.

honda should just kill off acura and start fresh with a new luxo brand...
no but really I hate how these ugly ass cars are coming out and people aree buying them yet aesthetically pleasing cars are made and people stray away from them (see G8)

Acura doesn't care about the auto enthusiast because they are a minority group. They just look at what we suggest and what we want.... then they introduce said features in the MMC
There were several reports of it happening in the 3G TL.... "we want foglights!" and the whole aluminum Supercomputer pedals

Why not complain about features that you don't know it's missing?
