this car is another example of their bloated marketing campaign.
no way will the sales of this car bail out acura. as a matter or fact, they may lose $$ on the car itself. a loss that hopefully will be offset by the increase interest in the general acura lineup. this MSX is basically an billboard on wheels. first it was the large grille, and now this.
didnt the X6 do horribly?
in regards to the car itself, it looks fantastic. but its not functional, which is the worst route you could take in a down market. acura is pissing away so much money on looking "advanced" without actually being "advanced." this is not a good sign. if this campaign fails, acura could go bye bye.

I LOVE the profile! I think this is going to be one HOT vehicle!!!
OK, I have put my purchasing plans on hold right now - I am going to wait for this to come out first before I decide to buy anything!!!
THUMBS UP TO ACURA!

Looks pretty good so far.
However, knowing Acura, I'm sure they'll ruin it with some shitty looking wheels, weird headlight/taillight arrangments, super huge wheel gap, and other ways to screw it up...

I'm torn. I think most of it looks really hot, but I'm still not sure about the X6-like look. I'm just not crazy about the raised-coupe look. I guess I'll withhold judgment till the full pics come out. Will likely be priced out of range for me anyway, but it would be nice to see Acura have a vehicle that gets noticed in a good way.

.IMO, this thing won't have a V8 and it will have the same V6 thats in the TL
so yea. i saw a new FX during my lunch break.
it's a love it or hate it car and design just like the X6.
it's still got a funky look to it, but it looks awesome at the same time. (if that makes any sense.)

i hated the new FX at first but its grown on me and i think it looks great.
Yeah, the zigzags don't do anything for me, and also I don't like how it's so damn flat in the front. It's the same issue I have with the new Maxima. The Max's grille is way too big for my taste, too.
Hopefully the MSX will have a more decent iteration of the plenum grille. It looks much better on the TSX than on the TL.

yea nissan/infiniti are definitely going with the fish look on their cars.
i still
whenever i see the 370z, becaus as much as i like it, it does look like a catfish.
and
about the TSX grille. i'm hoping the MSX's will be closer to that than the TL's.
however, even if the grille is managable, acura will still put on some lame wheels.
