Do you know if I can just use my PS2 as the DVD player in my car so I don't have to buy a mobile DVD? and where would be a phat installation place for it? BTW can it be installed here -

If you buy SteveSTMS Video on your Nav kit..sure. it's gonna be about 200 bucks if you want sound he said. And the PS2 will fit under passenger seat nicely.

 

You sure can use it as the DVD in the car. That's what we are doing in the BMW. As for the mounting location in the dash...Sure, you can put it in there, BUT, with MAJOR modifications to the dash because right behind that are the air ducts and all for the A/C.

BUT!!!!! I have taken the PS2 apart...AND, that drive itself it detachable and all you would need to do is extend a few wires from the ribbon cable and you can mount the drive all by itself in there...MUCH easier installation wise.

Anything is possible, just depends on how much modification you are willing to get into.

can the drive itself be installed where the cd holder is(above the CD/Tape player) and have the main PS2 unit in the glove compartment?? That would be pretty stylin!!!

Do you know if the Eclipse 7301 has Aux inputs??? if so how many? Can I hook up those Santeca headrest monitors to this unit? I tried looking at the website but I couldn't find anything, thanx!!

 

Yes it does, and yes you can run to the headrest monitors

 

Tann, I'm also think of a good place to install the bastage PS2, as well as a Dreamcast.

I like the idea of putting it where the cd holder is... I don't have a PS2 yet though, so I can't measure it. Think it'll work?

Only other place I can think of for the DC is the glove box or floor. =/

I would like to do something with my trunk pass through, since now if you open it you see the back of my sub.

Ideas?
