Yet Another Sub/Amp Question..you opinion needed!

Okay, here is the deal.....

I am in need of a subwoofer...I want a single 12 and that is all because I need the trunk space and don't want alot of weight. I was looking at the Polk MOMO MM12. It can be had for ~$215.00 online and ebay. It seems to get good reviews online.... and I like the idea that the enclosure is included and turned to the subwoofer.

It sounded pretty good @ Circuit City today and shold provide me with the tight bass I need as I prefer a sealed box. More information is HERE.

Since the Subwoofer/Enclosure handles 500 Watts RMS, I need a Decent Amp. I was thining about the Rockford Fosgate 500S since it claims 500 Watts RMS Bridged @ 4 Ohms. Info HERE.
It can be had for around ~200.00 online and ebay. On the Polk Website, some people even mention the 500S used to power it...

Does This Setup sound good?? What other AMPS are out there for around $250 bucks.

Isn't the Plexi really thin? doesn't it flex around a lot when it plays? Sorry, I haven't heard it in a while....
