XM Reception

XM Reception
I have an 06 TSX with the stock stereo. Until today, XM reception has been excellent, and I just renewed my subscription a few weeks ago.
However, while driving around locally today, XM reception was really poor for the first time - cutting in and out quite frequently. It didn't seem to matter whether I was under a canopy of trees or out in the open. I used to have this problem with Sirius in my previous car, but never with XM in the TSX. In fact, I've been impressed with XM's consistent signal, more so than with its content.
So -- does anyone know whether XM was having some general broadcast problems today (specifically in the afternoon), or could this be a problem with the stock stereo in the TSX? If it's a problem with the stereo hardware, is it still under warranty (I've had the car for about 16 months and 17,000 miles.)
Is there a reliable way to test whether the problem is with the hardware or not? Because I'm sure that the dealer will say it's an XM problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

From XM Web Site
We had the same problem... but here's what XM has posted on it's web site today:
XM Radio Resumes Normal Levels of Service
XM Satellite Radio has resumed normal levels of service for customers who experienced outages or significantly degraded service starting yesterday.
The problem occurred during the loading of software to a critical component of the satellite broadcast system, which resulted in a temporary loss of signal from one of the company's satellites.
After you turn on your XM radio, please allow five to ten minutes to reacquire the XM signal.
XM apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused.
