I have seen a few threads on this but not this specific question. I have a 2006 MDX Touring Model with the Bose sound system and I recently put in a JCV aftermarket radio. I by passed the amp and got everything hooked up to the factory wiring kit, however my XM is not hooked up.

I know the tuner is back by the subwoofer, but I would have thought that the xm radio cable from the tuner would have been ran up to the front and plugged into the factory radio. I did not see it and my thinking was this...

The cable from the xm tuner that came with the vehicle should be up by the factory unit and I should be able to simply plug that into my new JVC. I do not understand why I would need to but a new xm kit with a new antenna and tuner kit. Can someone help me by telling me where my XM cable from the factory radio should be located and if I can simply plug that into my new unit.
