why bother just get the PIE adaptor and you will have near-CD quality and a more integrated system.

I checked their website http://www.pie.net/aux_appl_honda.htm

and it says that it isn't compatable with 99-21 TL???

Is this right, or is it confirmed to work?

The usable FM modulator frequency are 87.9/88.1/88.5/88.7/88.9/89.1/89.3/89.5/89.7/89.9/90.1 MHz
I live in Washington D.C. & mine is set on 89.1 & I have traveled from here to upstate N.Y. & to Coastal N.C. with it set on the same frequency. It says if the output from the FM modulator is hard to hear due to interference from a strong broadcast station you can swithch to another frequency from 89.9 - 90.1MHz range.
The sound is clear with I would say near CD quality sound not bad at all.

Chris,
What was the model number of the adapter that worked for your 2002 Acura TL-S? Also what was the cost and did you order directly from PIE?

It says it *won't* work for the 99-03? I have an '02 and it works like a charm. It's the model HON-AUX or something like that.

I tried XM radio both on FM modulator and Blitzsafe adaptor. Trust me, you should really get some adaptor, PIE or whatever. FM sounds really bad, and half of the reason to listen to XM is gone just like that. FYI, I tried Pioneer 903 and now I have Sony XM through Blitzsafe.
