Those speakers are 2" deep. For sure they will work. From the top mount of the door metal you have 2-1/4" safe depth before you hit the glass. Using the spacer of the rain shield and the 3/4" depth into the door grille above the speaker, you have 3.5" of safe depth to play with.

You may need to cut away a little metal to make the hole bigger, but since these speakers are shallow, you may not. Try to mount them inside the white plastic rain shield from the old speakers. You need to protect them from water. A little cutting will make them fit.

And if you need to make the hole in the door larger, don't cut out the metal. Just make notches every inch or so around the hole. Then use pliers to bend back the metal into the hole and make it larger.

Thanks!

Great info! I just hope it won't be too hard to fit in the hole. I ordered them this morning. I'll update any issues I may have. Thanks again!

In case they don't, just push open the edges of the holes as I explained. It's really easy. You don't need to remove any metal. You can even fit a shallow 8" sub in the doors if you like.
