not sure if this goes here im am newhere sorry if this is in the wrong spot. my question is i've seen alot of acuras with the white lights and they look really nice, im not sure if they are stock lights because i seen them in the reflector housing and didnt seem like they were hid because i know how hid looks like so if anyone out there has an acura or your car has stock headlights but are white let me know what they are please i hate the stock dark yellow lights and do not want hid lights thanks

 

I have PIAA xTreme White Plus bulbs in my 944 Turbo and they are excellent. Definitely not yellow. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. I ordered mine off from Amazon.

If you do end up going with HID's spend the loot and go for Phillips Osram CBI's. They are very white, especially once broken in. Their new SVS HID bulbs are theoretically "brighter" but they are not "whiter" in terms of the visible spectrum is concerned (SVS is a lower temp whereas the CBI's are 5000K).

I have the CBI's in my MDX and they are very white. I love them.

 

Uhh I'm not quite sure if I understand the question but the 2G CLs are equipped with HIDs stock.

 

Are we talking about a TL? or Which Acura?
TLs do have HIDs as OEM as far as I know since 1G....
CLs too...

i have an 02 cl and the have HID. the "fog" lamps are not and they are a dingy yellow. any tips/tricks on how to change those out??

 

I just popped in some 28SMD Xenon White LED's. No resistors, no soldering, straight up plug and play.


They're the biggest bulbs there.


Finished result. I have the stock HID's and "Xenon Ultra White" high-beams.

They are a T10 bulb however it took 30 days for the package to arrive to Canada from China so you may want to look elsewhere for a seller.

 

Are these just for the "Fog" lights or will these fit the high beams as well?
