Where to mount AudioLink PD4 adaptor on navi model?

Can you extend the RCAs from it? There's not much room in the front, maybe under the passenger seat?
From what I read, it's 5"x5"x1". That's probably not gonna fit in the dash. My suggestion is to call audiolink and ask them how far from the head unit this thing can be.

I used to have the PD4 installed in my car and it was placed under the driver's side dash. All they had to do was add another set of RCA cables. No big deal.
