Where to drill in trunk? Streeteffects?

Hey, I was wondering, i'm putting in my first amp rack, it's going to be made of wood and plexi. I want it to slant down towards the middle of the trunk from the top sides, sort of like some of the streeteffects CLs. I wanted to know where to screw my amp racks to the trunk? Do I even use screws? How do i anchor the amp rack frame? What general areas can i screw into? What aeas sould i avoid?

I was thinking that this is an extremely useful topic? And maybe a diagram could be posted to the garage?

Thanks a whole lot

-John

John, the BIGGEST place to avoid is directly over the gas tank. You will know where it is because there is a round, silver disc, with a wire going into it underneathe the removable trunk floor piece. I would DEFINITELY use screws and brackets to properly secure the rack to the car. You can go most anywhere with it really, just avoid the tank area....and if you NEED to tap screws in that area, make SURE they are SHORT.

I usually use stainless screws, but A LOT of people use drywall screws.
