I am about to install an Illusion Audio 12" sub in a custom fiberglass box in the driver's side of my trunk. I am also putting Illusion ND5.1 components in kicks in the front. I bought my Illusion equipment off of ebay.
A couple important things to note. You need to get a freeair sub. If you get the Illusion then make sure you get the freeair version.
Also, Illusion audio went out of business earlier this year so don't expect company support. Their website is still up:
Illusion Audio
Some other high-quality 8" freeair subs to look at include Morel HCW8 and WR8. The Kicker RMB8 is a freeair that some on here have used as a replacement for the stock sub. I have a pair of RMB8s that I will put in my front doors for midbass use.
