I just purchased 2 JL audio 10w3v2's and I want to know what type of box is suggested. Thanks in advance.

 

all depends on what sound you are looking for.. and how you are going to set the trunk up... personally i went with a ported box because i am facing my sub forward thru the ski pass thru... but if you are facing the subs towards the trunk then i would say go sealed..

 

I plan on facing them out towards the back of the car. What type of sound could I get with what type of box?

 

I think those JLs are better suited for a sealed enclosure.

 

if you are facing them towards the rear i would definately put them in a sealed box....
