What subs really POUND? cont...

Ok I read this whole thread and you guys convinced me with the JL's. I was also thinking about Kickers, what do you think? Now I have a question, Im thinking of using a bandpass box for 2 12's. Whould the w3's or w6's work better with this? And also what kind of amp do you recomend. I was looking at the PG zx..ti series, you think thats good enough to power 2 12w3's or 12w6's. Appreciate your opinons.

I don't think JL recommends a bandpass box for their subs.

Not true...just not for the w7's. Running the w6's specs through a computer modelling program yields a suitable box...however running the w7's through the same sim yields a 2 cu. ft. box with a 10" port (obviously not possible/acceptable). Hope that helped.

I've run 3 JL 12 w6's in a tri-bandpass box and won quite a few tournaments in my day...you'll see quite a few competitors running them as well
