i'm going to put a new system in my car and was wonder whats sizes was the speakers are in the doors. in the front and bacK.
i dont wanna buy the wrong sizes and waste time taking it back and trading it. please help..thanks

 

I asked Acura Canada customer relations and they said the speakers are 16-cm in diameter (6.3 inch)......I heard 6-inch speakers fit......but you should check with someone who's already changed the door speakers. Hope this helps.

 

I have 6.5" 3-ways in the front doors and 5.25" 2-ways in the rear doors. You will need to make adapter rings to hold your new spkrs to the metal door panels. Aftermarket spkrs won't fit in the plastic baskets that hold the Bose spkrs.

i was gonna do it myself and save money.

 

sounds like a good course of action.....if something bad were to happen when you were installing the speakers, you'd be f*cked. But if the guys at the shop messed something up, they'd be responsible for repairs. At least I hope so.......just don't sign any papers that would absolve them of any damage to your car!
