If an aftermarket system is installed in the TL that includes, say, a 12" sealed enclosure subwoofer box in the trunk, what should be done with the stock subwoofer which is mounted in the rear deck?

If it is not removed, will it cause any distortion due to some kind of sympathetic vibration even though it is disconnected from any input source?

If it IS removed, does something need to be "patched" in its place?
