What set up did u guys get?

i got a JL 10w7 in custom ported box with a 500.1 amp.

 

that's pretty nice, how's the sound?

Sounds great to me.

 

I got an eclipse 8443 headunit, boston speakers(need to install), and jl 300/4 amp. Gonna finish it with a 10w7jl sub and 500/1 amp.

 

how much guys?

 

i paid 335 shipped for brand new 10w7 n 225 for a 4 month old 500.1. n 100 for custom ported box which is being made now.

where did you buy the w7 3.2?

 

got it privately. it was brand new to.

 

It's still a work in progress that never seems to end. But, I think I'm nearing completion.

I have Focal 165 K2's in front and 136 K's in rear. The good news is I will be upgrading on Friday to 165 K2P's and 165KP(?)'s in front and rear respectively. The bad news? I've only had the 165/136 components for about a week

Oh yeah, the center channel speaker gets installed on friday as well...5.1

i got an elcipse 8443 hu, boston component set and 6x9s, two 1 farad caps, jl 51w3, and i just got a kicker 150.4 for the highs. about to get another amp for my 15, probably the jl 500.1 or 1000.1 and then i have to get my box and dynamat so i couldnt tell you how it sounds but i cant wait for the install

Including the upcoming speaker upgrades, taxes and labour...somewhere around $20,000 CAD give or take a G note.

I'm adding another amp to power the center channel speaker. It's an el cheapo "e" series JL audio amp(I think it's 120 watt). It's going to be mounted on the floor behind the passenger seat under plexiglass.

 

This is my setup....nothing too fancy but it sounds pretty damn good.

i recently just put a system that included:

12" IDMAX v3
JBL 1200.1
1.75 cubic foot sealed box(built by me)
50 sq.ft. Second Skin Damplifier
Stinger wires

Depending on what you are looking for, the idmax is probably one of the best sound quality subs that i have ever listened to. It also gets pretty loud for one 12 inch sub. I have it hooked up to the stock headunit right now and it still sounds great. I can't imagine what it would sound like once i replace the headunit and speakers.

 

I just ordered all my shit and have gotten about half of it.
