wattage from stock amp?

How many watts is the bose amp from a first gen CL?

It doesn't matter because it was designed to go into something like a 1/2 ohm load.... Basically, whatever it does normally, you'll get none of it....

Um no, it's 25x4 at 4 ohms.

I am using it with an aftermarket head unit. Someone else recently posted about this and confirmed it with Bose.

So, the stock system in the 1st gen CLs is a 4-ohm system.
That is nice, makes much easier to upgrade componants a piece at a time.

I remember the bose system in my Legend ran at 2 ohms, hated it..
