Want my stereo to sound like a live concert!!!

all you guys know what i'm talking about. I'm not the type who drives down the street with the windows down, attempting to have ppl 6km away hear the bass coming out of my car. I tend to listen to very loud music though, and take pride in having a really really good quality sounding stereo. I'm wondering what would be the best upgrade for me to put in replacement of the Blows (You know what I mean, Bose) speakers to make it sound a lot better...do you suggest a better subwoofer also? I have no use for excessive bass, and the bass this sub provides at max power is totally fine. The only reason i would replace the sub is if I want to balance out the sound, but other than that, I'm not interested in messing around with the sub, just the speakers.

any suggestions???

Keep in mind I'm not looking to put in like thousands of dollars. Something in the couple hundred dollar range will do

The DX-6 swap might be your best bet for that money. It won't get louder, but it will get cleaner. If you want louder and cleaner, you'll have to go with an amp. Personally, I'd bank that $200 until you can do a little more like an amp and components in the front doors and a nice 2 way speaker to fill in with the rears. Just my 2 cents.

i would have to disagree... mb quarts are way to bright and not natural at all... i would go with a speaker that has a silk dome tweeter... maybe focal, diamond audio, or cdt... i would suggest upgrading the sub since if you upgrade the rest of the speakers you will barely be able to hear the stock sub... i am also assuming that you plan on keeping the stock radio... but like bigboifonts said if you want good sound you are gonna have to come off the money...
