Volume is adjusting with throttle.

I have a 02 tls with a pioneer premier headunit. When I apply the throttle the volume gets louder and when I brake it gets lower....Any idea why, and how to fix this?

Is this the actual volume or is this strictly road noise? ()High pitched)

No, this is the actual volume of the music...Lets say that the volume is set on 7, when I hit the gas it plays louder then like a volume of 20, but then I hit the brakes and it goes back down to what it should be. Also, most of the times it does this it throws the speakers off and it sounds like they are blown, but they're not.
I have a AUX port that connects to my Ipod if that makes any difference?

That's probably so your music doesn't get drowned out by the sound of your engine. I know it's a feature on some new cars, such as Audis.

Do you know if there is anyway to turn it off, because it gets so loud at some points that it distorts the sound.
Also, whoever installed the headunit disconnected the steering wheel controls.....Is there any way to get those to work in conjunction with the Pioneer headunit?

You would have to check your owner's manual on how to turn off the feature.

In order to get your steering controls you need to install an PAC adapter.

The manual for the headunit, right?

I don't think there's escalating sound in a 02 TL. I have no idea what the issue might be causing it..

When you upgrade a headunit you lose steering wheel controls it's nothing the installer did. You also lose factory sub, 6 disc in dash and Navi voice.

My car does not have Navi, and I primarily use my Ipod in the car....But is there ANY way to get the factory sub back?

I have a Rockford Fosgate amp and a off brand sub (10) in a box in my garage, how might be able to hook that up? Do I need any specific cables or connections?
