I saw an ad on TV for the Honda Accord with voice activated GPS. I realize the standard new TL's have the Nav embedded in the dashboard. But I would like to install a GPS on an older vehicle. I called Alpine and they don't sell voice activated GPS systems. Does anyone know who does?

I do not remember which, but either Kenwood or Pioneer has one. I think it is Pioneer.

BTW, the system in the Accord is awesome!

 

I don't know of any company besides eclipse that had a voice command navigation---I will give my two cents in that the Alpine NVE-N852a while although quite pricey is one hell of a Navigation unit---it teamed up with an Alpine Multimedai Station (CVA-1005, CVA-1003, CVA-1004, IVA-C801 or IVA-D900) make for a nice and easy to use system. The one thing I wish the Alpine units featured was touch screen but beyond IMHO the Alpine is the way to go----i

 

My wife's 03 MDX has the voice activated navi.. it rocks!
