Vlad at Club Lexus making Progess on GEX->Navi conversion

I was poking around on club lexus and it looks like Vlad has made some progress on his converter for the Pioneer GEX tuner. In a previous thread he seems to think this will work with Acura as well.. Who will be the first to test???? :-)

Well this time if it works, go buy the sh*t before it goes away. Too many procrastinated on a $100 rgb-1 that is discontinued and worth gold now.

IMO, video on the Navi is the sweetest mod you could hope for on a CL.

I forget, but is our monitor and navi Pioneer? He said:

Yes we do need this little black box because the Pioneer GEX is designed to work with Pioneer Monitor and Pioneer Nav+DVD. This unit will bypass all of those and save a lot of money and installation time.

Our navi and monitor are not pioneer. The little black box Vlad is making will allow us to use the GEX without having to install a pioneer monitor to program the GEX with its On Screen Menu.

Vlad's black box will allow the OSD to show on our Navi monitor. T
he GEX is also a TV tuner, FM modulator, and will accept mult vidio inputs. So you will be able to switch between mult video inputs on your Navi screen.

I think it is Vlad's intent on making and selling them. Otherwise you would have to make your own.

Looks like Vlad has completed his project and is now selling his little black boxes. Here is the website. He seems to think it will work with Acura Navi but no one has tried it yet. To set this up you will need the following:

1.) Vlads Black Box
2.) Pioneer GEX-7000
3.) One additonal RGB Cable
4.) A DVD player like a PS2

Who is going to be first???
