I need help guys, when i bought my tl it came with a viper 478v/p/c (thats what it says on the back of the remote), its an alarm and a auto start. the auto start works but when i lock the car it just locks without making a sound. I know its supposed to beep or something....i even tried to trigger the alarm but it is obiously not armed. My question is does anybody know how to reset or activate the alarm? any help is appreciated. thanks.

 

Your alarm is in the valet mode. Open the door and press the buttons in the following order, lock, unlock, lock. Before you do this you will notice that the LED on the dash is constantly on (indicating the valet mode) and afterwards it will go out (indicating normal alarm mode). Now your alarm should be back to normal.
