Viper 790xv remote start/alarm.
I have the viper 550esp w/remote start, I keep hearing about this Viper 790xv system. I did some research on it and I see that this new alarm system comes with a digital alarm box. My question is what is the difference with the alarm system I have now compared to the 790xv? I'm assuming that it's only because that new system has the digital box(if Im assuming correctly). Can someone tell me what's the deal on this new alarm system?

If anyone of you guys have it or had the 550esp and upgraded to the new 790xv, can you tell me what the difference is? If it's range or better security, thanks.

the difference is that 790 is 2 way and 550 esp is one way only, 790 comes with one two way remote where 550 there is two, all the plugs on both brain is the same so if you get a 790 don't pay anyone to install it, just unplug your old one and plug the new one, you do have to change out the antenna receiver. hope that helps
