video on my navi installation question

All, I was reading the instructions by TypeSDragoon which are VERY good instructions but I was a little confused on one of the parts about soldering the wires to the "jumpers". The picture in reference is attached and the blurb is as follows. My question is about the jumpers. Are the instructions actually talking about the jumpers below the capacitors or are they talking about the caps themselves?

Hold the RGB converter (look at pic RGB1-3), and I labeled the 4 jumpers R G B C that stand for:

It's talking about the wires coming out of the capacitors... or I guess you could call them "legs".

It apparently doesn't matter which one you choose on each color, I have R and G ones soldered on one side and the B and Y on the other and it seems to work fine. That made it easier to get to a couple of them. That by far is the biggest pain in the butt of the modification process.

Here is a picture from another install and it really looks like the wires are soldered to the little lines in front of the caps. HELP!

PS - mcdanjw, if you've got any pics of your board I would love to see where you soldered em. Thanks!

I didn't take any pictures and there's no easy way to get it out of the car to take any. But here's a diagram of what I did:

and that works correctly for you? Also, did you go with the relay or did you go with the big run of wires?

Works fine. It was just a pain in the ass to get wire soldered to the Y and C ones because it's awkward to reach.

I used a 12v 4pdt relay. I didn't want to run all that wire. The relay works great!

But I see what you mean about that pic of the other modification. The way I did it works fine.
