Video on navi 2001 Tl

I just completed this past weekend of hooking up my navi screen to a Pioneer GEXP7000TV Controller. Thanks to the major help from Stevestms I have success. I have a portable dvd player, NAVI, and TV working on the Navi Screen, with audio through FM Modulation. Stevestms provided me the wiring configuration of the NAVI Computer to interface it to the GEX Box as well as a tremendous amount of phone help. I am willing to know help someone with the same. It works great !!!! I can provide you with the spreadsheet that shows the wiring of the navi computer that needs to be used. Thanks again to Steve who really did all of the hard work.

Were you able to get the on-screen display to work properly? If not, can get by without it? According to steve our Navi display is not setup to display the on-scree menu without extra circuitry. Thanks.

Grutledge, did you figure out how to get the on screen display to work? or did you set it up with another screen first then connect it to the navi screen. I just ordered a GEX-p7000tv so I am curious to know how involved the install is.

Grutledge,
Can you use any screen to use the setup menu? Or does it have to be the Pioneer AVD-505 that Steve was talking about? I'm thinking of just getting a cheap screen and throwing it into the glovebox for whenever I really need to make changes using the setup menu. Would this work?
Thanks,
peter.

I have 3 video on my navi kits available for $450. This includes the decoder, rf modulator, and all modifications to make it work. The kit comes with instructions and is ready for installation. The price also includes shipping.
